The 1423-A Precision Decade Capacitor is a versatile tool for calibration lab and production testing work. With it, a bridge can be standardized to an accuracy exceeded only by that of the highest quality lab standards. Basic accuracy is plus or minus 0.05%. Capacitance range is from 100pF to 1.111uF in steps of 100pF. Stability of plus or minus 0.01% per year. Consists of 4 decades of high quality mica capacitors in shielded enclosure. This precision decade capacitor consists of decade switches and associated capacitors mounted in a metal compartment within the cabinet. The constituent capacitors are high quality silvered-mica units with precise final adjustments made by small "trimming" capacitors within the instrument. This unit offers nominal capacitance of 100 pF to 1.111 uF in 100 pF steps over 4 decades with an adjustment accuracy of three terminal capacitance of +/- 0.05% at 1 kc.
