IBI MBP 3000E Molecular Biology Power Supply * The IBI Model MBP 3000E is a microprocessor controlled power supply capable of delivering accurate and stable output from 10 to 3000 volts. Two sets of output jacks make it possible to run two electrophoresis units of similar type simultaneously. This instrument can also be operated in any of three modes; constant voltage, constant current or constant power. The microprocessor monitors all three modes continuously, increasing output until one of the parameters (voltage, current, power) reaches the set value established by the user. If during the course of an experiment, an output value changes due to changes in the resistive load, the unit will automatically “cross over” to a new mode when the output value reaches the set value. This feature enables the user to control the upper limits of each mode. * Bright seven-segment LEDs display actual output values * PRESET switch allows user-selectable display of output set values when desired * Two speed tactile membrane switches for easy rapid output adjustment * Three operating modes (constant voltage, constant current, and constant power) with automatic crossover from one mode to another when output limits are reached. LEDs indicate controlling parameter. * Dual recessed safety output jacks allow simultaneous operation of two, electrophoresis units. * No load detection and 100 milliamp current leakage detection automatically shuts down output and indicates FAULT by LED. * Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, Checks (Company or Personal) |
