OLFLEX® VFD is a shielded, oil resistant and flexible motor supply cable for variable speed drives subject to non-linear power distortions. This cable is used to interconnect an AC variable frequency drive or control system to an AC variable frequency motor. OLFLEX® VFD cable is different from other VFD cables because it is insulated with “Lapp Surge Guard” to disperse the voltage spikes, harmonics, and power distortions associated with variable frequency drives. The “Lapp Surge Guard” specially formulated insulation prevents premature cable damage. An inner jacket is used to protect the insulation from the braid shield and to lower the capacitive attraction between the shield and power conductors. The outer orange jacket is extremely oil and UV resistant. OLFLEX® VFD has a Corona inception voltage of 2900 volts.
