RCA 866A Mercury Vapor Rectifier This RCA 866A mercury vapor rectifier came from an estate sale. It has the old style glass envelope. I could not check it electrically since I have no equipment that uses 866 tubes. I did check the filament for continuity and it is good. There is some material flaking off of the plate and some loose flakes in the tube. The base has been glued to the glass envelope and is firm. This one may still be usable or it may only be good for display. |
