Inactivated when the aerospace business slowed and now finally they have been surplused and are available to you at a tiny fraction of their original price! * WT-440 Interchangable Die Frame with capability to accept wide variety of 44xx series dies. Click here for more info on tool WT440 hand tool. * 4474 die is labelled for 14 AWG Insulated Terminal Lugs. Approx 0.1 inch x 0.24 inch oval If 4474 die was still available (couldn't find any on internet) they'd run $340 to $1k and a WT-440 handle new lists at $1048 with 47 day lead time (Newark 46F3835). Good. Printing easily readable. Actions are smooth and dies line up well. Grips colored from use but in good shape. Big grip cushion slightly less loose (1/8 inch). D/188 S/N 003 on one side, nothing on other. * Parallel Straight line action hand tool * WT-440 Frame has option for interchangeable steel dies and stowable or push to swing out wire guide. Dies are available for a range of GSC, GSR and GSW series Shield-Kon shielded and coax cable connectors. * Shure-Stake (TM) Rachet mechanism: once pressing has commenced, the tool can be re-opened only after successful completion of the crimping cycle. * Cushion-grip handles combine to provide greater operator comfort and efficiency. * Dies are approx 3/8 thick with thickness split into 2 pairs of crimping contacts with approx 1/16" gap between adjacent pairs. * Closed gap at die edges is zero (they touch), open gap at edges is about 1/4 inch. * Approx 8 1/4 long, 2 1/2 inches wide, 7/8 inch thick. Closed gap with dies touching at edges is about 1/8 inch oval, open about 3/8 inch (1/4 inches at edges). Center to side wall is about 3/8 inches. Packaging: None, you get just the single hand tool with one die set. All tools are returnable if not fully functional but are sold As-Is with regard to detail calibration(s) since I have no equipment nor procedures to perform calibration checks. I do not gaurantee they meet any particular detail specifications.
